This is a simple demo that allows you to move a box around the screen and change the background color. This was mainly used to test out the buttons. The picture is too blurry to tell but it is a "@" image being moved around.
Can you give any hardware details? Which Nokia LCD? (128x128 on Sparkfun, or have you found a higher resolution display?) What ZigBee chip? What microcontroller?
I am in the design phase of a similar project (not for games, hardware interface to robots, data logging, etc) and would be very interested in your experiences from a hardware selection perspective.
My name is Dennis Collier. I'm 27 and have been programming since I was 13. I've always been interested in computers and electronics and constantly took things apart. I am a apathetic loner with a lust for world domination. With an army of robots I shall take over the world. I will rule you all with an iron fist and you shall call me your king. I also enjoy drawing, 3D modelling and animation.
The Tome Game System is a homemade 32Bit handheld game system. It is designed to be simple yet it will be able to produce games similar to Game Boy Advance. It has an accelerometer for motion control and built in Bluetooth module for wireless communication. The system is currently based on the PIC32MX679 microcontroller.
cpu: PIC32MX679 speed: 80mhz (can be overclocked) ram: 128k internal, 128k serial sram flash: 512k storage: 4MB flash internal, mini sd card display: 1.8" spi lcd, 160x120, 18bit color
The Tome Media Player is a music player capable of playing midi, avi, mp3, ac3 formats and more. It has USB, microsd, three-way toggle and a button for menu navigation. The system is based on the at91sam7s256 microcontroller.
I am sure I am not the only one wondering:

I've just posted the specs on the front page. Later I will post a sort of retrospective of my choices to this point.
