GUI pics

Here are two quick shots of the gui I am developing for the TGS. Pressing left or right moves between them though no sub menu's yet. The Tome Media Player might use this interface.

  1. Looks awesome so far! I can't wait until you start selling kits for these... hoping to port some simple games or at least write some utilities for this.

  3. I hope to get the price around $100. That would include a complete game system with battery, usb cable, parallel port jtag programmer, sd card(1gb), memory card reader, usb Charger(ac) and earbud headphones.

Sounds great, I absolutely would pay $100 for a developer kit type of package. Though I could do without some of those things... the sd card, reader, and earbuds I already have. I could also do without the USB cable and charger as long as it's just a regular USB or mini USB cable.

  5. Hello, I wanted to ask if you can make me something like the handheld game system you have. but with some modifications. Like i need the lcd to be in a different pcb - i want it to be a clam shell design. so the screen going in the top, and then in the bottom it has the arrow keys on the left and 6 buttons on he right - arrange the buttons so they look nice if possable. I dont need the wireless module you have, but i need 2 mini usb ports on it. i need this as small as you can do it. i will pay you for this, just tell me about how much exactly. and i just need the screen to say "hello world" on start up - just so i can learn from the sorce code. i also need a programmer for it - i have a memory card already and the reader/writer for it -so just needed the stuff i listed - i really hope you can do this for me. let me know please i will check back often

  6. I just started work on my quadruped robot. I had decided to make a device specifically for robotics rather than using the TGS. What you want is similar but there are a few differences. It uses the clamshell format it has 4 buttons, L/R shoulder buttons and two displays(both on top). I can post a pic of the 3d model if interested. I am still finalizing the design. I had planned to release the robot and controller as a kit but if you are interested in buying a prototype I can probably finish the controller design first and build you one. Though since I will be building everything from scratch and in single quantity it will cost somewhere around $200. Slightly cheaper if you want to build your own case and leave off one lcd(s65 or 6610) and the wireless chip since you don't need it. Since the TGS is being redesigned I had considered just adding extra features to it rather than completing a new design and cheaper since its not clamshell.
